The McCleskey Family in Georgia
A Narrative, Historical Account Compiled by Rev. Walter Scott McCleskey, Ret.
*Prepared by Carey Michael McCleskey

This long awaited book is a modern and more comprehensive revision of the now classic A Partial Account of the McCleskey Family in Georgia (1962). It exhaustively documents many generations of Georgia McCleskeys, including those who moved on to the states of Alabama, Mississippi and Texas. Many generations of Georgians descended through James McCleskey, David Henderson McCleskey and Thaddeus Henderson McCleskey are documented in this account. It also includes a comprehensive account of descendants of James Rhea McCleskey, son of James–the Revolutionary War soldier.
